Q.  How do I access the videotapes?
A.  Here are the steps to take to view the videotapes. First, click the login icon on the home page of the School of Ministry web site. Second, when the login page comes up, type in your username and password. This will take you to your personal page. Third, on the left-hand side there is a list from which you can choose to check various things. One item on that list is “Courses.” Click that item. Fourth, near the top of the page the courses you are enrolled in will be listed. Take for example, “Faith Foundations.” Click on the title of the course. In this example, it is “Faith Foundations.” This will take you to a page that looks like a yellow legal pad. Fifth, click on Lesson One. Finally, the next page asks you to click the speed of your modem. Click the appropriate speed (56, 100, etc.). This will bring up the video for you to watch. Give the computer a few seconds to bring the video into focus.

Q.  How do I access the study guide?
A.  You can call up the study guide by clicking the line on the page that looks like a yellow legal pad that describes the study guide option. You can also print out the study guide for your convenience. You must have an Acrobat Reader in order to print it out. If you don’t have one on your computer, you can download one for free from www.adobe.com.

Q.  What steps must I take to complete an online course?
A.  You have to do only two things when you are taking a course online. (1) You have to view the videotapes in sequence. (2) When you have watched all the video lessons relating to the exam, then you can take the exam. The exam is graded by the computer and your score is available to you shortly thereafter. You will receive full CIMS credit when you view all the video lessons and pass the exam. Your grade will be posted on your transcript for you to view.
