Knowing the Holy Spirit

Many facets of the person and work of the Holy Spirit are considered in this book. For example, one must take into account His divine nature and His work throughout eternity as a member of the godhead. Traces of His work are found in the Old Testament and in
abundance in the New Testament. The apostle Paul taught that all believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit at conversion, but not all are filled with the Spirit at that time. Being filled with or baptized in the Spirit comes after conversion and has to do with the degree
to which one is yielded to God.

In addition to His work in conversion and Spirit baptism, the Holy Spirit impacts the daily lives of believers through the development of the fruit of the Spirit and the operation of the gifts of the Spirit in their lives. Nobody covers the full spectrum of the Spirit’s work
better than those who have contributed to this book.
