Why Choose School of Ministry?

An educational initiative created to minister within the church and larger community.

The Certificate In Ministerial Studies (CIMS) consists of 20 courses, offering 35 credits. 34 credits are required for the CIMS certificate. Our courses are available to anyone with the desire to further their ministerial training.

The CIMS curriculum is comprised of over five-hundred 30-minute video lessons presented by outstanding leaders and teachers in the Church of God. Textbooks and study guides assist the student to learn and apply the video lessons.

The CIMS credits are in three areas: Biblical, Doctrinal, and Pastoral. Biblical Studies consists of four courses with 10 CIMS credits. Doctrinal Studies has four courses with seven CIMS credits. Pastoral studies has 12 courses with 18 CIMS credits. An achievement award is given upon the completion of course work in each of the biblical, doctrinal, and pastoral courses
